Whatever

Apparently there is a new guy that keeps me busy most of the time. His name is Max. I got him a couple of weeks ago.

My life’s been changed by a dog. I used to think only of myself, but now since someone else depends on me, I have to make sure that everything is in place and on time. 

He got sick the first week, unfortunately my dog whispering skills have diminished (because I didn’t have a dog for over a decade). Apparently I was not feeding him right. So I had to rush him to the vet, ask for some expert advise and followed it to the letter. But still he got colds and had difficulty breathing yesterday, so we had to go back to the vet to get him checked out. 

For the past 3 weeks my life has been changed by this creature, and I feel different as well. I feel like a parent to a child that needs supervision and care. I love the feeling that I need to be there for someone. I guess it is true that your life and priorities will change when you become a parent. At least that’s how I feel at the moment, frustrated at times, but mostly happy.

Got myself a couple of gadgets recently that I have not really blogged about yet. One of them is the AKG K 402 foldable headphones. 

I got them from a friend. Well, the first consideration for buying the product is the color. Second is the quality and third is the Brand.

The “Nice Stuff”

Sound Quality: Compared to other headphones of the same price, the sound quality is so much better. I have bought a lot of them so I can pretty much say, this is one of the best I had.

Color & Design: The price will vary depending on the design, but this one has a few colors of it’s own. I LOVE yellow so I guess that is the reason why I really had to get my hands on this one. I also like the idea that it folds, and it will only take a small amount of space in my bag.

The “Bad Stuff”:

Features: It is pretty much limited to being a headphone compared to other brands (most of them have mics and remotes). 

Design: The adjustable headband is cool since it’s in chrome, but never make the mistake of adjusting it while it’s on your head, it will tend to pluck a couple strands of hair when you take it off. (It happens to me a lot, and it hurts) Another thing about the design is the plastic connection between the headband and the earphones, they look very brittle and may break anytime you apply too much pressure on them.

But in any case, I’d still buy it if given a second chance. The sound quality is something I really like about this thing, something I would exchange a couple of hair strands for.
